Complex Community Carer – Penryn

We are looking for compassionate, resilient carers to support a young woman with complex and high-risk mental health needs to live a full and meaningful life. This is a challenging and emotionally demanding role, but also a highly rewarding one.
You’ll be supporting her to enjoy life; this can include water-based activities, spa days, festivals, and getting out into the community, as well as providing consistent support at home.
You will never be working alone as this is a double-handed package, meaning you’ll always be supported by another carer on shift.
There is no personal care involved. This role is about building trust, providing emotional support, and enabling independence.
The Role
24-hour care package with 12-hour day & night shifts
Always double-handed – work alongside another carer at all times
Multiple positions available to cover all shifts
What We’re Looking For
Experience in mental health or complex care is preferred
The right person matters most – compassionate, reliable, and willing to learn
Drivers preferred due to community activities (non-drivers considered)
Able to work alternate weekends
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting mental health and managing safety and wellbeing
Building a trusting, positive relationship
Encouraging independence and engagement in daily life
Supporting both at home and out in the community
What You’ll Get
