Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking for caring, proactive, and confident Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting a friendly lady to live a fulfilling and independent life.
This is a rewarding role for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and able to provide positive encouragement and motivation. The successful candidate will support her to engage in activities she enjoys while promoting her wellbeing, independence, and healthy lifestyle choices.

The lady you will be supporting enjoys:

Baking and cooking
Watching films
Days out in the community
Exploring new activities and experiences
She benefits from support workers who are confident, motivating, and able to encourage her to get up, get organised, and make the most of her day.
Key Responsibilities
Providing 2:1 support during 12-hour shifts- 8-8.
Encouraging participation in hobbies, activities, and community outings
Supporting healthy eating habits and meal planning/preparation
Assisting with shopping and maintaining a healthy lifestyle
Supporting with attending appointments and community engagements
Prompting and assisting with medication in line with care plans and policies
Offering emotional support and positive encouragement
Promoting independence, choice, and dignity at all times
Maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Is kind, reliable, and compassionate
Has mental health experience
Has a positive and encouraging approach
Is confident in motivating and supporting others
Has excellent communication skills
Can work effectively as part of a team
Is flexible and dependable
Be able to work shifts
Has experience in care/support work (preferred but not essential as training can be provided)
Drivers and non-drivers are welcome to apply.
This position would suit someone who enjoys building positive relationships, encouraging independence, and supporting people to lead active, fulfilling lives.
No personal care is required as part of this role.
What We Offer
Starting pay: £13.55 per hour
Plus: Holiday pay, sick pay, pension contributions, and mileage at 40p per mile
28 days annual leave
Monthly pay and pay reviews each April
